International Journal of Policy Studies
Call for Papers
The International Journal of Policy Studies (IJPS) invites researchers and scholars to contribute their original research to publish in the peer reviewed international journal. As an official journal of the Korean Association for Policy Studies, this journal accepts high-quality, original research featured in articles, policy debates, and book reviews.
IJPS aims to provide a comprehensive source of theoretical and analytical research that broadens the field of action in policy studies. The journal is devoted to significant advances in knowledge and understanding of the practices in the field of public policy.
IJPS welcomes a wide range of topics, approaches, and ideas through seeking an important balance in the production of descriptive, explanatory, and evaluative policy- oriented research. The main areas of interest are as follows: comparative studies of public policy with administrative developments in the international field of action; theoretical, empirical, and methodological insights to the study of public policy in a national, comparative, or international context; and constructive debate on current trends, issues, and practices in public policy.
Manuscripts submitted to IJPS undertake rigorous double-blind peer review based on initial editor screening and anonymized refereeing by at least two anonymous reviewers. Manuscripts should be prepared for review in accordance with the most up-to-date edition of the American Psychological Association guidelines in a widely accepted word processing format of Microsoft Word. Submissions should be prepared in the flowing order: abstract; keywords; main text; and references. Manuscripts should be no longer than 9000 words, including abstract, the body of text, and references, along with tables and figures. Please read submission guidelines for authors at http://www.kaps.or.kr/src/
Submissions should be directed electronically to Co-Editors in Chief, Drs. Sungsoo Hwang and Younhee Kim, at kapaedi@kaps.or.kr.
We greatly appreciate your consideration of IJPS as a publication venue for your research.
