MOU between AAPA and the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic
The President (Professor Pan Suk Kim) of the Asian Association for Public Administration (AAPA) and the Rector (Professor Almazbek Nasyrov) of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic (APAPKR) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in Issyk-Kul, Kyrgyz Republic on August 25, 2015. The Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic (APAPKR) acquired the status of a presidential institution in Bishkek. The Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic claims to be not only a leading training center in the field of public administration in the Kyrgyz Republic, but also a leading higher educational establishment in a national education system granting an MPA degree. The Kyrgyz Republic (formerly known as Kyrgyzstan) is bordered by Kazakhstan to the north, Uzbekistan to the west, Tajikistan to the southwest and China to the east. Its capital and largest city is Bishkek. It is a member of the Commonwealth of Independent States, the Eurasian Economic Union, the Collective Security Treaty Organization, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, and the United Nations.
